Sleepy foot : When your foot feels numb or it's "asleep" it can be an early sign of diabetes and a condition called neuropathy. Back pain or sciatica can cause this also. The best thing to do is to go to your family doctor to do a blood test to test your fasting blood glucose and hemoglobin a1c levels. If they are both normal, maybe see a neurologist to check of there's nerve problems in your legs or feet.
