Needs evaluation: Bladder spasms can happen for all different reasons. If they started after your hysterectomy, it may have something to do with that surgery. You need to see your doctor and have a cystoscopy which is a procedure to look into your bladder and check for mass, stones, mesh, a reason for your spasms. Also, a study to evaluate how your bladder is functioning should be done, this is called urodynamics.
