Eyelid swelling: If she sleeps on that side, this could be irritation due to rubbing on her pillow or an allergic issue. Try artificial tears, ointment at night, cool compresses, and allergy meds. Tranquileyes goggles can also be helpful to prevent rubbing of the eyelids during sleep.
