How many hours?: Children in this age range need at least 12-14 hours of sleep. They usually have 2-3 naps per day, in addition to sleeping through the night. If your child is growing, both physically and developmentally appropriate for her age, that is a good indicator of health. If the increased sleeping has happened all of a sudden, is not eating well, or is having any other sick symptoms, she needs to be seen.
