Depends: Any time you use a topical steroid should be under physician supervision. Topical steroids may thin your skin, cause redness and stretch marks and depending on the amount of medicine you are applying and the frequency of medicine application, it may also be absorbed by your body. If you have scalp psoriasis, topical steroids should be ok as long as monitored by a physician.
