Possible: Scalp acne or seborrheic dermatitis are other possibilities. Have you tried any over the counter shampoos? Neutrogena T/sal shampoo would be a good start. Make sure you follow the instructions properly. If no response in couple of weeks would recommend to see a dermatologist for an exam and further guidance.
