How can we perform an iui at home?

You can't: An intrauterine insemination (iui) requires first semen to be washed as unwashed semen should not be inserted into the uterine cavity. A special catheter is then needed to enter the uterine cavity to deposit the washed sperm into the uterine cavity. For these reasons, as well as others, IUI cannot be performed at home.

Appointment for IUI in 72 hours, but got a positive LH test now. Should I cancel IUI as clinic does not open on the weekend and IUI was planned on Monday? Or can IUI be done 72 hours after positive home ovulation test?
My ovulation test has been positive since I took the trigger and even up until today although IUI was performed 38 hours post trigger shot. I am confused please I need clarity, does my ovulation test being positive to date mean Im yet to ovulate?
