Calcium and Vit D: You should take calcium and vitamin d supplements for stronger bones. However, if you are having lots of pain, out of proportion with your wipe-outs, then you should go see your doc to make sure there isn't something else going on.

See below: Many foods other than milk contain calcium: cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, ice cream, veggies (broccoli, kale) tofu, eggs. Also calcium supplements with vitamin d3 to enhance calcium absoption. Can try NSAID (advil/motrin/aleve) for pain & inflammation, but if problem persists, see fp for evaluation & treatment options. May need to be checked for arthritis/ra & thyroid/ parathyroid function.
