Yes: Yes. Pregnancy tests can detect pregnancy several days before you miss your period. Start communicating with your OB for prenatal visits. Don't forget about prenatal vitamins. Congratulations.

Yes: If you followed the hpt instructions precisely, it is very likely that you are pregnant. Home pregnancy tests detect beta-hcg in the urine, which is produced by the placenta, as early as 3 days after implantation of the embryo. There are only a few conditions that cause a false positive.
