Is it really gas...?: Abdominal pain is never normal, but you have not indicated the intensity, duration, or circumstances of your symptoms. Lots of things cause abdominal pain--see my earlier healthtap answers on the subject please. If pain is severe (as you indicate) or worsening, don't delay in seeking evaluation & getting treated. The history of jaundice may have nothing or everything to do with your symptoms.
