Pink, and NO: Everyone's anal lining is pink, no matter what your melanin content. An untrained eye will not be able to differentiate any abnormality by home inspection, and trying is likely to damage the sensitive tissues there, so go and get help instead from an experienced professional, who has spent years learning the details. Definitely not a diy project!

Probably not: To examine for uc takes a colonoscopy and for crohn's that would also be a good start. If you think there is something wrong with your anus, it could be something else not related to ibd. See a colon-rectal surgeon for the best shot at a good result.

My Fecal calprotectin test, hs CRP tests, CBC blood test, stool test are totally OK. Can i still have IBD (crohn's or ulcerative colitis)? Because sometimes I see mucus in stool with smell. I had anal fissure 3 months ago?
A Calprotectin was 2900 in Aug (& I have years of high levels), capsule endoscopy and colonoscopy in Sep showed nothing. Oct calprotectin 19. What could have caused the high levels then? Wouldnt my intestines have signs if it was a crohns/UC flare?

I have mildly congested mucosa in rectosigmoid junction. Does it sound like Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis? Biopsy came out negative.
