Monoclonal protein: Can be seen in mm and and nhl. Also entity of mgus - monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance. More work up is needed to sort all this out -- the first question is what is the magnitude of the m spike?

It may or may not be: A hematologist should be able to help you, because there are many benign cases with abnormalities like yours. We see these type of consultations quite frequently and there is a pretty standard evaluation routine.
