Many ways: Avoid processed starch and sugar and eat more fruits and veggies and raw nuts. Start exercising daily even if its only 15 mins. Walking biking yoga swimming all greatly help. There are over the counter supplements that work including magnesium, L-arginine to name a few. Over 5% weight loss greatly help reduce blood pressure if you're overweight.

Exercise daily: Persons with high BP are usually somewhat overweight. Reducing your weight thru daily exercise and practicing good dietary choices that restrict sodium will be most helpful. I f your BP is elevated, you must begin with a medication to control it. After you have begun the lifestyle changes that lower bp, exercise may allow you to stop meds. Poor BP control leads to heart dz; kidney failure.
