i have swollen lymph nodes, soars on my lips and in the mouth, swollen gums, green mucus and a fever for 5 days now. doctor said it's not strep, help?

Many causes: It need not be a strep (streptococcal) infection to cause this cluster of symptoms. A significant upper respiratory infection that effects the mouth, throat, bronchi and lungs can be caused by many different pathogens be they viral or bacterial. An md can help you find the source of infection and prescribe the correct course of treatment (if viral, antibiotics will be of no help primarily).
