Not likely: Dishes used for eating should never contain lead. Do not trust those imported, and avoid those labeled not for food use. You can get swabs to test surface lead (wet and they change color) in home depot, etc; the lead is often in the glaze rather than the clay, so even intact dishes with lead will not be safe. If you bought them in the us, it is unlikely they contain lead; if in doubt, get new.
