Flu? 13yr old had flu shot, on antibiotics, but has flu-like symptoms: all over body / muscle aches, heavy limbs, coughing, exhausted, congestion, but no or mild fever. should he see his dr or wait?

See doctor: Did doctor do a rapid influenza test? Although they are not always accurate, if it is +, he might benefit from tamiflu, (oseltamivir) if he's been sick under 48 hrs. Also, why is he on an antibiotic? They don't help viral illnesses like influenza. If he has a bacterial infection, is on the right antibiotic, the infection may be spreading. Doctor would need to modify treatment.
