Prostatitis: This flluorinated quinolone is approved for use in prostatic infection due to e. Coli. It is a broad spectrum antibiotic available by prescription and has some potentially serious side-effects. Would recommend that you consult with your pcp or a urologist before taking this drug and follow their specific recommendations.
