Evaluation needed: Difficulty breathing on inhalation and unilateral chest pain raises possibilities of pneumonia, pleurisy (inflammation of the lining of the lungs) and even blood clots. During pregnancy, it is prudent to take these symptoms seriously and have a thorough evaluation by your doctor. If mom can't breathe, baby can't breathe.
