It is very possible: If you don't drink enough fluids more of the liquid in the small intestine is absorbed and at the breaking point - viola constipation. It is not frequent but can be very uncomfortable and even painful. The small intestine is not as large and after the pouch is filled -- it hurts. Good luck & drink enough fluids.
