Yes: Hh ( hiatal hernia) can be sen on the ct portion of the exam , sometimes. Most hhs slide .... Come and go based on patient positioning , eating, etc. Therefore not always seen. Note if the hh is metabolically active/"hot"...Your doctor may suggest endoscopy to look at the area in your distal esophagus.
