Not likely.: Most people tolerate beetroot very well, and it would be rare for this to make Gerd worse. However, if you notice that your symptoms worsened when you consume beetroot, I would stop it and talk with your doctor before you proceed. Otherwise, beetroot is a natural, very healthy food. And it's tasty too! Enjoy.
