Contact Dermatitis: Over the counter (otc) cortisone 1% can be helpful to relieve itch and irritation. If not calming enough, you may need to take him to your pediatrician.

Baking soda paste: Wash the skin with soap & water. Make a paste of baking soda and water (sticky consistency) and spread over the affected area.
