It shouldn't: Insomnia/sleep deprivation should not cause an abnormally elevated TSH level. Remember, high TSH levels mean your thyroid is under active.

No: However I am curious to know if you have been experiencing insomnia for a while prior to testing. It's not uncommon to have sleep disturbances while having a thyroid problem, either hypo or hyperthyroid state.

Unlikely: Tsh takes a long time to change. There is nothing you can do acutely that will change tsh. Also, insomnia occur more commonly in people with low (hyperthyroid) rather than high TSH (hypothyroid).
