Exercise!: How to stay in shape despite an(y) injury? Do all the other exercises that don't aggravate that specific injury. For instance, if running/walking aggravate your broken toe, avoid that activity for a while until you've healed. But don't give up strength training such as chin ups or pull ups, planks, even one legged push ups. Just use your imagination to find exercises that don't require using toe.
