Not directly: There is an increased risk for gingivitis. If the pregnancy has caused increased stress, you may grind your teeth causing a tooth ache. Your teeth will not "rot out" because you are pregnant, but, may if you crave sugar and give in to this craving.

Nothing Good: An infection from a tooth can travel through the blood stream. Do you want this infection to travel to your fetus? Get to a dentist now.

Sometimes: It depends. Sometimes with pregnancy, you can have inflammation of the gums, but if you have a toothache, you need to have a dentist check to see why. You might have a deep cavity or even a cavity that has reached the nerve and you may need a root canal.
