Minimal: A cat scan is a fairly safe procedure. A single exam to a part of a body does not have significant risk as far as radiation exposure. An exam using IV contrast has a slight risk for contrast reaction. Serious reactions are quite rare. If you have a significant allergic history(significant allergic response to multiple things) your risk is slightly greater.
