Depends on abrasion: It all depends how big and how deep the abrasion is. If we are talking about superficial, small corneal abrasion, the best treatment is lots of lubrication with artificial tears. If we are dealing with a large, and deep abrasion, patient might need a bandage contact lens until full re-epithelization of the corneal cells, and also antibiotic drops to prevent an infection.
