Yes: It is always possible that the radiologist "missed" something. We are not machines. Mri is not a perfect test and may not detect disease when present.

Yes: Mri is done in many different ways and is usually designed to answer a very specific question. Sometimes, the way an MRI is done is not ideal to "see" certain abnormalities. And yes, radiologists can and do "miss" things on MRI scans. There are thousands of images to look at and even the best radiologists overlook things. Ask for your scan and review with your doctor or another radiologist.
