Graves disease: If graves disease gets out of control, thyroid storm (high temp, very fast heart rate, cv collapse) can develop and cause death. However this is rare and graves can be readily treated. Adrenomyeloleukodystrophy (amld): no known relationship to graves. Are you sure of diagnosis? Adrenal failure (addisons) and graves can occur together.
