7.7 hours: Experts agree that you need about 7.7 hours a day of sleep to get all the benefits that sleep can provide. Sleep is relaxing, repairing, regenerative. It allows you to process and store your long and short term memories. Without it you will not be as healthy as you could be.

Yes: Sleep deprivation will affect memory. Your memory will affect your testing, which affects your grades. Go see your doctor!
