Is ovulation pain on the pill possible? getting discomfort (not exactly pain) around the pelvic area on my left side in the middle of my cycle.

Yes: Occasionally with the very low dose hormonal birth control pills these days a breakthrough ovulation can potentially occur. Usually thr endometrial lining isn't supportive for a conception though. Make sure you take the birth control pill almost at the same time each day and some antibiotics may decrease the efficacy of the oral contraceptive pill.
