Can be period/see Dr: You might just be having your period, and this coupled with your pap, might explain your bleeding, especially if you had colposcopy with biopsy, like cone biopsy. If yes, just go with it, if not, and if you don't stop bleeding, get to a doctor/er fast, as there might be pieces of tissue in your womb, etc. And that can be a focus of severe infection that has to be removed. Need to see Gyn: The short answer is the pap may have nothing to do with the bleeding. Even on birth control, pregnancy happens. A urine pregnancy test is a good idea. Also, spotting and bleeding are common if you started birth control within the last 3 months. In short, i would call the physician who is doing your paps and prescribing your ocps.
