It's hard: To say when the bleeding will stop but most people have stopped by about 9 months. You could add low dose Estradiol tablet, .5 mg at night, may help you to reach your full bone strength as well. Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) can prevent achieving peak bone mass because it inhibits estrogen production, necessary for bone density, without replacing it like an oral contraceptive.
