Well: Lets say it is not unusual, people can have irregular menses at times but if persistant you may benefit from the ocp, irregular menses can be assocaited with high Insulin without necessarily a glucose problem. You can get a fasting Insulin level and if elevated and irregular menses may bebefit from metformin. Gd luc.
