What age should be off a bottle?!

By two years: Start transitioning to a sippy cup at one year of age. Off the bottle totally by two. Some children transition more easily than others.

The American Academy: of Pediatrics recommends weaning as close to 1 year as possible. Give whole milk, limiting milk & milk products to 16-21 oz./day to prevent constipation, iron deficiency anemia & its developmental delays & dental caries. The same muscles are used to talk as to eat & drink. Use open-mouth cups to promote lip closure, not Sippy cups that promote a primitive suckling position. See dentist at age 1.
