I am type 2 diabetic. i am congested i might have a cold or the flu. what kind of medicine can i take?

Go see your doc....: Type 2 diabetics have poor healing, so go see your doctor. He/she will prescribe the right medicine. Colds usually don't require meds. The flu shot should have been given to you already, and there is not a lot that can be done if you see the doc late with the flu. Dehydration/infection is what i worry about with my diabetics, so if your sugars start to rise, better see the doc.
