Well: If it looks like a tear it probably is. Genital herpes can present this what but not this soon; it sounds like trauma to the tissue. Not sure though, go in if not improving; gotta give my dr disclaimer.

Vulvar lesion: It sounds like simple irritation of vulvar skin due to friction from sex. However, a tender sore area that shows up 3-10 days after sexual contact can be a sign of herpes. Get a gyn check and treat it like it might be herpes.
