My dad has hydrocephalus, he got surgery for it.apparentl his memory isn't improving fast enough. today he forgot something not short term. i'm scared?

? normal pressure: Some older patients start to lose balance, memory and bladder control. Brain scans show large ventricles but brain pressure is normal. Some can improve with a shunt, but others do not respond to surgery. I assume he has had extensive testing to exclude other conditions. Have faith he may improve over time. Discuss options with his doctor.
