Depression & Surgery: Many of the possible reasons for brain surgery can contribute to depression. You are feeling trapped, which makes me think you've been left with some residual symptoms that i hope will resolve. Please tell your doctors how you're feeling, and ask for a referral to a psychiatrist -- especially one subspecializing in consultation-liaison psychiatry. http://www.apm.org/.

Trapped?: Brain surgery sounds very serious? Why do think that you're trapped? My suggestion would be to see either a psychiatrist or psychologist to help you get through these tough times. Good luck.
