I have severe pain in my right wrist. i have been to drs. and had an x-ray. i hv appt with hand clinic in 2 wks. what can i do to relieve pain?

Get a wrist splint: From a medical- supply store or sports store to immobilize it. Just make sure it's the right size, not too tight. If the pain is from a " pinched nerve, " (like carpal tunnel syndrome) it won't help quite as much as it would for pain from a sprain, but it'll help some. You'll have to ask your doctor about pain medications. Good luck!

See below: R.I.C.E. Rest, ice, compression (ace-wrap) and elevation. Otc nsaids like Motrin will also help.
