Concerning: Not sure what you mean with a grade 2. This usually is in reference to a ligament injury such as your medial or lateral collateral ligaments which are on the inner and outer side of your knee respectively . These usually are treated conservatively with bracing, control of inflammation (ice/ Ibuprofen ), and modification of activity. Swelling of knee joint, especially at 4 wks., needs doctor exam.
