A 28-year-old female asked:

I have irregular period.i take femara (letrozole) 2.5mg once daily without inducing my period.and period starts within 7 days.i want to conceive.but cant.?

Infertility: The goal of Femara (letrozole) isn't to induce a period it is to create an environment where the ovary creates follicles. If pregnancy is achieved, you will either have a period or need Progesterone to induce one. If 3 cycles of Femara (letrozole) fail, your doctor will consider using fsh instead.
