Ask your Doc!: Imuran (azathioprine) and plaquinil are helpful in managing sle but have side effects & are not cures. New treatments are being researched so you were probably invited to help see if an experimental treatment may prove better- but ask your doc! complementary/alternative therapies may be useful adjuncts to standard treatment so consider seeing a holistic doc too- see http://www.Abihm.Org/search-doctors.
