Not always: Cysts can be there for years with no symptoms and need not be removed always, however, they can enlarge, have a smelly disharge , get infected or become unsightly, tender then excision is needed. You should have them removed before they become infected it is easier.

Cysts or else?: She will need to go to see her doctor and get a thorough examination to figure out what are those cysts. Not clear whether they are really cysts or something else- like acnes, neurofibroma, lipoma etc. Nothing can replace a good examination.

Benign soft tissue m: Since she is developing several i suspect they are probably little benign lipomas.I think she should have some removed and sent for analysis.As they grow they can be sypmtomatic and painful anmd would require removal.But a few should be biposied.www.beautybybrueck.com.
