Could be sinusitis.: An odd taste and smell is one of the less well-known signs of an infection in your sinuses. It's really important for persons with asthma because the same allergies that trigger asthma very often trigger blockage in the nose that leads to sinus infection. Other signs include headache, facial pain and cough, sore glands or sore throat. And sinusitis makes asthma worse. Go see your doc.
