Many things: More information is needed please. Did you sustain any trauma to this area? Are you taking any blood thinners? Do you have any medical issues that relate to bleeding disorders or low platelets? Is the discoloration painful? Did you recently have a surgical procedure or any dental work in this area? Please clarify. Thank you.
