I'm 5 days late. i took 3 hpts. all 3 had very light positives. the 2nd line was there just light. what does that mean? i'm confused.

You're pregnant: Basically, positive is positive. The hormone levels are low very early, but will rise over the next to reach the highest levels around the time of your second missed period or 7-9 weeks. So the very faint positive is just a diagnosis of an early pregnancy.

Likely pregnant.: This likely means that you're pregnant. You can test again in a couple of days, but your history of being late with your period, amd 3 light positives is strong eveidence that you are pregnant. As your pregnancy progresses the beta HCG that this test measures goes up and so if you were to do this test in a week the 2nd line would be more pronounced. Best of luck.
