Not sure: But if you are on a diet that is making you sick, then it's not the right diet for you. It doesn't matter if it is "right" for someone else. If you want to lose weight, you need to eliminate simple sugars, but modest amounts of complex carbohydrates are good for you. Avoid sugary drinks, fried foods, desserts, alcohol, and eat brightly colored organic fruits and vegetables. Use meat as a seasoning.

Low-no carbs diet: If you were used to eating vegetables with fiber and then went to a diet that cuts these out almost completely, constipation could result. This can happen in people who go on high protein/low carb diets. I agree with dr. Caplin this may not be a healthy diet for you, at least not for an extended period. If you plan to continue, you may need some supplemental fiber and plenty of water.
