Compression fracture: Fractures may take a while to heal, surgical indications are for nerve compression and instability, back pain alone less so. Bracing is a good upfront conservative option. There are also minimally invasive treatments such as kyphoplasty and per cutaneous fixation. Seek counsel from an ortho or neurosurgeon specializing in spine.

Unsure: While it is still possible that u will undergo addl healing, at this point it is more likely u will cont to suffer some chronic pain. Once a person has suffered pain from an injury for >6mos the nerves to that area can bc unregulated to experience pain all the time. U really need to seek care. If neurosurgery can't offer help, then anesthesia pain management may b able to.

Hard to say: Most simple compression fractures heal by 8-12 weeks. Your persistent, severe pain suggests there may be something going on beyond just sustaining simple compression fractures. I encourage you to seek repeat evaluation. Thank you for your question.
