Massage: When muscles are sore from exercise (delayed 1-2 days) massage the muscles. Add heat through water, linament or thermacare (rt) wraps, and keep moving. Tylenol (acetaminophen) at bedtime may ease the disruptions to sleep from discomfort. Physical modalities such as laser therapies are being developed for aggressive athletes with strict timetables for return to play.
